Yes, CCIE DC makes sense, and I can see a possibility of Storage and DC merging in the future.

Cisco is about to start offering CCIE Storage lab in San Jose and another location in Asia. It speaks for their intentions of keeping this track alive.

Adam, we offer CCIE Storage training (workbooks, vrack, bootcamps). We've got 25 passed (+ a number of those who didn't tell us they passed) out of current 145 in the world. If you have any questions, please email me directly.
