Hi Kevin,

This could be because when using this command the value you specify is
not accurate. Due to hardware restriction the value is always increment
of six. Here is the link to the Cisco doc:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/relea
se/12.2_46_se/configuration/guide/swqos.html#wp1253412

This behavior is mentioned in the last line of the section.

Cheers,

Ruchir

Subject: srr-bandwidth limit

Hi Guys,

I have a hard 10Mbps Full switchport and I srr-bandwidth limit to 10%,
so
effectively the output is 1Mbps? But my verification reflects a
bandwidth of
11.12.

Switch#sh int gi1/0/1

GigabitEthernet1/0/1 is up, line protocol is up (connected)

Hardware is Gigabit Ethernet, address is 0025.b4e2.6c01 (bia
0025.b4e2.6c01)

MTU 1500 bytes, BW 10000 Kbit, DLY 1000 usec,

     reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255

  Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set

  Keepalive set (10 sec)

  Full-duplex, 10Mb/s, media type is 10/100/1000BaseTX

Switch#sh mls qos interface gi1/0/1 queueing

GigabitEthernet1/0/1

Egress Priority Queue : disabled

Shaped queue weights (absolute) : 25 0 0 0 Shared queue weights : 25
25
25 25 The port bandwidth limit : 10 (Operational Bandwidth:11.12)

The port is mapped to qset : 1
