Kelvin,

Most changes are very quick, assuming your RR information is up to date. Just be careful when you're when you're testing this type of thing, it's pretty easy to find yourself dampened after a couple of failover tests :)

Test it out for yourself though, route-views.oregon-ix.net route-server.ip.att.net.
