answer this question, Which routes would be affected by both options? Just default or all routes in the area?

Subject: NSSA default route cost
Fellow experts,
I am trying to find out if there is any difference in setting the cost of the
default route injected in the NSSA area. I used the following 2 configurations
and I can see no difference in the LSA. Here we go:
first option:
==========
router ospf 1
area 2 nssa default-information-originate
area 2 default-cost 500
second option:
============
router ospf 1
area 2 nssa default-information-originate metric 500
In both cases, I can see the same metric in the Type-7 LSA:
Rack1SW3#sh ip o da nssa-external 0.0.0.0
OSPF Router with ID (150.1.9.9) (Process ID 1)
Type-7 AS External Link States (Area 2)
Routing Bit Set on this LSA
LS age: 388
Options: (No TOS-capability, No Type 7/5 translation, DC)
LS Type: AS External Link
Link State ID: 0.0.0.0 (External Network Number )
Advertising Router: 150.1.3.3
LS Seq Number: 80000003
Checksum: 0x1FFD
Length: 36
Network Mask: /0
Metric Type: 2 (Larger than any link state path)
TOS: 0
Metric: 500 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Forward Address: 0.0.0.0
External Route Tag: 0
I guess there is no difference, the first configuration is the legacy while the
second one is the newer way to configure it.
Thanx, best regards, Mihai
