match vlan under class-map

Hi All,

   I am trying to understand the below statement which I found in the 3550
configuration guide under QOS section.

" *Note*:When you use the match vlan vlan-list class-map configuration
command, you can enter up to 30 VLAN IDs. When you enter a range of VLANs,
such as 10-15, the VLAN range is counted as two VLAN IDs."

Is the above means that ,when we use match vlan 10-15,it actually matches
traffic from vlans 10 to 15 but the map-class consider only used 2 vlan ids
over the limit of 30 ?.Kindly clarify me the same.Thanks for the help.
