Use linux, it works great, from past 1year i have been using it on my
core2duo 3.0Ghz 2 GB RAM & all 3640 devices work great with RIP,EIGRP,OSPF &
BGP running, cpu urtilization 60-70% only.

also do change idlepc vlaue that do effect also.
