We are looking for Network Professionals in INDIA for the following
Job Description.

This is profile is based in Gurgaon- INDIA and at present we are
looking for candidates from India only.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Provides expert level support for Tellabs products to both
internal and external customers.

2. Work on 1st and 2nd level support via phone and e-mail
consultation to debug broad, complex and unique network problems with
mixed media and protocols. Provides support on a world-wide basis.

3. Act as a focal point for large account network problem resolution.

4. Provide systems/product training; and guidance to less
experienced engineers.

5. Apply known solutions to solve problems. Work on problems of
diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation of identifiable
factors.

6. Develop knowledge of baseline System Engineering skills,
specifically switching, routing/routed protocols, Network Security,
Unified Communications, IP Telephony and Wireless Technologies.

7. Exceptional ability to be demonstrated with deep understanding
and knowhow of technology.

8. Ability to configure and troubleshoot complex problems on case
to case basis and also should have ability to recreate customers
environment in labs.

Key Job Qualifications:
Knowledge of some or all of the following:

1. Tellabs 8000, 8600, 8100, 6300 and 7100

2. IP/MPLS experience
- Strong understanding of Telecommunications networks
- Unix, Windows and database administration

3. PDH/SDH knowledge
- Good verbal, writing and interpersonal communications in English

Key Education qualification:

7 Education : Graduate in any discipline (Technical Degree
holders will be given preference)

7 Years of Experience: 3 -5 years related experience for
Network Engineers.

7 Certification: CCNP/CCIP or higher

Technical Skills:

Strong in OSI Model, L2/L3 switching, VLAN, Ether channel, DTP, VTP,
CEF, Basic routing, Password recovery, STP, Loop creation and breaking
concepts, ROMMON recovery
Understanding LAN / WAN concept and IP sub-netting / super netting.
Should be comfortable with IP based Routing Protocols, TCP/ IP.
Should possess thorough knowledge of WAN basics as Knowledge of ISDN,
Frame-relay, PPP, ATM, T1/E1, T3 /E3 technologies and sub
technologies.
Knowledge on Access-Servers would be a preferred.
 Thorough routing & switching understanding, VLAN, L2/L3 Switching,
EIGRP, OSPF, Static Routing,

Thorough MPLS, E1/T1s, Frame-relay, ATM, Serial Communication
Protocols, Wan/Lan QOS,
Multicast , MP-BGP/VRF, ,OSPF ,EIGRP ,NAT ,Access-List ,GRE ,DHCP ,PBR
,RIPV2 ,NTP ,Bridging ,ARP ,Object tracking, VPLS/L2-VPN.

Other specific technical skills:

1. TCP/IP

2. IP Routing

3. Border Gateway Protocol

4. MPLS

5. MPLS QoS

6. L2 VPN

7. Service Provider Technologies (Includes ATM/DSL/Legacy Wan types)

8. Product certificates and/or experience (Tellabs 8600/8800,
Cisco, Juniper, ALu etc. IP or IP/MPLS products)

Soft Skills:

1. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

2. Excellent learning skills desired to adapt to changing technologies

3. Good listening and crisis management/presentation skills with
minimal supervision.

4. Ability to understand technical issues and the ability to apply
technology and products to a business opportunity.

5. Work on complex problems where analysis of situations requires
in-depth troubleshooting skills.

6. Should be a vital team member and should exhibit leadership qualities.
