If you think the isr's are fast at reloading, the 3725 you have on dynamips must be the a total slacker.
I hate reloading any isr as I think they take way too long.

On average how long do the 3725s on Dynamips take to reload when wiping
configs or does it depend on the underlying computer hardware? Xms seem to
take way too long, I guess i'm spoiled using ISRs for the majority of my
