Try Linux. It really helps when it comes to memory management. I used to run
a full CCIE lab topology on Linux without much problems.
As far as v4 is concerned, IPX has updated their workbooks vol.1 to include
these changes.
INE has add on videos on MPLS and Security on their CoD/wbs.
And I always save the best for last, Narbik's v2.0 which is coming out very
very soon will also cover this in depth.
As for the assessor labs, I have 0 knowledge on it so I really cannot
comment on it :-)
As for the CCIE R&S Beta examination, you can schedule it via PearsonVUE's
website AFAIK. Perhaps the others here will have more info.
