I have this exact setup in a small lab.

PE1---RR1---ASBR1---|---ASBR2---RR2---PE2

-IPv4 BGP everywhere with send-label, advertising loopbacks+labels of RRs
and PEs
-RR's are eBGP VPNv4 Peers (multi-hop with or without next-hop-unchanged, it
works either way because each side has labels of the RRs and PEs).
-ASBRs do not have VPNv4 routes.

Like Marko said, post your configs and let's have a look.
