RP-ANNOUNCE FILTER ( AUTO-RP)

Hi experts !
I want to ask what is the purpose of using " IP PIM RP-ANNOUNCE-FILTER" is
auto-arp,
if RP announce itself as RP candidate for pariticular group, thn mapping
agent will map the RP for the particular group, so why it is need for
RP-ANNOUNCE FILTER
