True enough. Many decent sized 1+ Billion in revenue companies have staff
that are largely not even CCNA yet. And either survive with Smartnet, a
Cisco Gold Partner, or CCxP level professionals. Some augment where
required for Project-based work, etc.

A long way from every company of with more than 500+ Cisco Routers, Switches
and 2+ Data Centers having more than one CCIE on staff just yet.

Now most of those same companies have 1+ MCSE's on staff and some not even
in Server/Data Center roles.

The CCIE is a long way from a saturation point in the real world.

At least from my angle.
