Even though we are not used to talking about CST support on Cisco
switches - remember this is an IEEE thing - not a Cisco thing. To
quote Cisco themselves, "the IST instance is simply an RSTP instance
that extends the CST inside the MST region." The entire MST region
ends up looking like a single switch in the CST.

I think our direct concerns regarding this for the lab exam would of
course be in the Core Knowledge section.
