OT-AP1010 registering in unwanted WLC

Hi,

Need help. We have environment in which one WLC-1 is configured to support L2
LWAPP Transport mode, had 15 AP1010 registered in it.

Second WLC-2 is in different subnet, configured to support L3 LWAPP Transport
mode, had 37 AP's registered in it, both 1000 and 1130 series models.

Now we had to switch first WLC-1 to a different module on the core switch, so
all 15 AP's got unregistered and when WLC-1 became available, it has only 13
APs, two of them are somehow not registering with WLC-1 but discovering WLC-2
using L3 discovery mechanism and registering in WLC-2.

I have reset these two AP's, and gave the IP of WLC-1 as Primary WLC while
they were registered in WLC-2, saved the config, reset the AP and they still
go and register in WLC-2.

The one thing that I suspect is, that WLC-2 has higher version of code than
WLC-1, now as these two AP's once registered in WLC-2 and got higher version
of code from WLC-2, probably thats why they are not registering with WLC-1 as
its code is of lower version?

Any comments or solution to this problem without upgrading the code on WLC-1?
And if at all the code version difference is the reason for the problem?
