Good man Bobby. Enjoy some deserved time with your family, support there is
vital! Also don't get hung up about attempts. In the field I have worked with
three CCIE's at different times. They were all very experienced, intelligent
people. Good people you want to work with who you can learn a good deal from.
Only one passed first time. The latest is a three timer with a four digit
number back in the day and very capable.

Karl Solie took three attempts, Scott twice, Anthony four I think. Keep that
in mind and you will do fine!

Regards
Gary

  Thanks Joe,

I agree. My wife and I have already decided that I'm going to book my next
attempt. If my work will cover it then good; if not its no big deal. I'm not
really doing this for my employer any way. Either way, I'm still taking the
next couple of weeks off ;-)

And Bobby, let me say this from my own experiences:

My last 2 paid exam ( one failed, one passed ) : both reimbursed by
the company I last work for ... I pay for both initially by my own
    hard-earned dough.
Once you passed, there is a lot on the table to choose.

It not a guaranty that my company will do it today, but it is an
    investment for the future...
Heck, I should leave the investment out of it ;-))).

     You get my idea.
