As I'm sure you'll hear, that's not a recommended strategy. The problem
is that while yes, it will help greatly... If you have major issues to
fix/work on, then 4 days is not really enough time to do that!
I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's that "just in case" idea. 4-6
weeks is best. Long enough to fix things, but not too long that stuff
starts leaking out.
But I've had plenty of people take a bootcamp, go take the lab the
following week and pass without issue. If your studying is good BEFORE
the bootcamp, you may end up doing just fine with a lot of work that
week and dedicated time with whatever instructor you take the bootcamp
from.
I would recommend the bootcamp idea over just workbooks. It gives you
an additional pair of eyes and an unbiased opinion about your progress
(if you are willing to hear that!).
