I don't recall having to enter the CVV when I paid for my lab
recently. I received an e-mail the following day from ccie_at_cisco.com
with subject "Credit Card Payment Approved"

Rest assured, the money will disappear from your account -- the
lab-taking process has many variables, but this ain't one of them :-)
