Here is a simple command that will do the trick

Converting from AP (Autonomous) to LWAPP (Lightweight):

-------------------------------------------------------

First Method:

-------------

Download the LWAPP image from the TFTP server to the access point:

------------------------------------------------------------------

ap# configure terminal

ap(config)# interface bvi1

ap(config-if)# ip address 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.0

ap(config-if)# no shutdown

ap(config-if)# end

ap# archive download-sw /overwrite / reload tftp://
10.0.0.10/c1200-rcvk9w8-tar.123-11JX1.tar
