One issue that I have run into using the cli for LWAP upgrades is the
newly converted LWAP maintains the static ip address and so doesn't
learn the ip address of the controller using dhcp.

If there is no dns entry, the controller not on common subnet as ap,
and OTAP is disabled or not an option, this may cause some
registration issues.

There is a solution in the WLC troubleshooting guide using forward
protocol 12222 (I think) to help with this.
