That's an interesting approach, but makes sense. Takes care of the discovery
process and upgrade at the same time. I have done them in past before I have
started the configuration process on the controller.

Just a thought but ... You may choose to configure a syslog, configure the
lwapp for debugs and a logging server.

If you want to run the upgrade tool and parse out the commands / activity,
this will give you an idea of what is happening throughout.

I think the process though is pretty basic ... I googled this:
Login to the LAP console.

      debug lwapp console cli
      lwapp ap ip address 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.0
      lwapp ap ip default-gateway 10.0.0.3

      archive download-sw /f /o
tftp://10.0.0.3/<http://10.0.0.3/><imagename*>
