Every lab is a mock lab...until you pass. Then it is the real thing!

s run | i no\ |event|kron|register|interface|ip addr

That should check for most trouble spots, excluding Frame-Relay. I was
thrown off my game during the lab with my OEQ's, so I basically went in
straight line through the lab, refusing to read ahead or thinking much
about initial troubleshooting. I would not recommend that route, then
again, I wasn't nervous because I thought I was taking a mock lab at
that point :)

Do a show run and look at your configurations. The initial
configurations
are very basic and something like NO IP ROUTING should stick out like a
sore
toe.

Hey Guys,

Can anyone give some examples of initial config issues that we may face
during
the lab? like someone told me when he was configuring frame relay he
wasnt
getting the routes propagated across the peers.after scrutnising the
initial
config he saw a "no ip routing" command configured on one of the
routers.
would appreciate if some one could share these types of common issues in
the
initial config that could save some time of ours..

:)
