Ken,
Checking over the configs thoroughly is a certain necessity. I remember
when layer 1 troubleshooting was a part of the lab. The first thing
you'd do is run through all the connectors and make sure they were all
seated properly. Going over your configs to make sure there are no
"extra" lines of code or other potential problem children is a great
step to take. Just wait until the lab changes over to the new blueprint
with the extra trouble tickets/new troubleshooting portion that are
going to cause some havoc. I foresee lots of new fun!!!
thanks,

Do a show run and look at your configurations. The initial
configurations
are very basic and something like NO IP ROUTING should stick out like a
sore
toe.

Subject: Issues in CCIE lab initial configs
Hey Guys,
Can anyone give some examples of initial config issues that we may face
during
the lab? like someone told me when he was configuring frame relay he
wasnt
getting the routes propagated across the peers.after scrutnising the
initial
config he saw a "no ip routing" command configured on one of the
routers.
would appreciate if some one could share these types of common issues in
the
initial config that could save some time of ours..
:)
