Thanks for your feedback. I couldnt bear the frustration so I reloaded the
switches. But, here is the interface output from the log buffer for port 23;

For the 3550:

This seams to be an miss-configued error of Ether-channel

can you please post your configs' of Port 23 & 24 for both switches
