Re: IP Interface Dampening

 First of all i dont know why your query remained dampened for 12 days ..-:)

max-suppress time by default is 60 mins and 4 times the half-life which is
15 mins.

After this wait of 60 mins (default) and if the prefix/route stops flapping
based on the history which the router keeps, it should be advertised again
and the penalty would be 0.

To avoid this wait of max-suppress time, we can manually clear the state
with clear ip bgp dampening which will reset the penalty to 0.

Lets see if we could get more insights on this..
