RE: EIGRP Time Limit for Active State

Hello,

The show run output only shows static information. Try 'show ip eigrp top active'. Just remember that you have to be quick about it as routes will only stay active for only a few minutes depending on how EIGRP has been tuned.

Let us know if you have any other questions. The below output shows that there are no routes that are active.

pri_XXXXXXX_HUB#show ip ei top ac
IP-EIGRP Topology Table for AS(250)/ID(10.253.250.1)

Good question. I know you can see the timer in action with "show ip eigrp topology" when there is a route active. I guess the command would be:

show run | inc active-time
