Check out our blog. We posted on this subject the day of the announcement.

As far as product updates go we have moved away from the traditional cycle
of develop, release, wait for lab changes, develop, release, wait for lab
changes, etc to just develop, release, develop, release, etc. In the near
future you will see the traditional version numbers removed from our
products (i.e. version 4.0, version 4.1, version 5.0, etc) since the
products are in a perpetual cycle of development and release.

Feel free to shoot me an email offline if you have any specific questions.

Subject:To IE - upcoming Version 4.0 of Cisco CCIE

Hi IE Trainers,

The upcoming Version 4.0 of Cisco CCIE. Routing and Switching certification
will test hands-on troubleshooting, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), and
VPN networking

Will the IE Vol1, Vol2 of Version5 be updated again, revising for the new
syllabus? If yes, when is IE planning to release them?

Cheers

Nit
