For sure I truely agree with you,
But trust me to really get the TRUE NMS reports and satisfy the management
is really difficult.

I know a one of the top three NMC products who end the project with the
Biggest ISP in Saudi in tatters as the ISP was asking for customizable
reports and that vendor end-up in bringing there SOFTWARE Developers who
actually developed the products to came down to the site and generate the
reports but at the end of the day software itself has it's own limitation
and project really finishes at the bad note. ( I m talking about biggest ISP
in middle east not any small bank and others as compare to ISP)

By no means I am saying that NMC prodcuts are useless but most of the time I
saw NMC product is used just like a solarwind products and other small
prodcuts.

One should analyze the requirement throughly before going to the NMC
product and also clearly indicate the ROI of it.

If still someone has money and wants to utilize the NMC product so please go
a head and buy not only IBM Tivoli but also HP OpenView : )
