Each individual has unique study requirements. Something that worked for
somebody else may not work for you.

When I was studying for my CCIE, I spent about 2 hours per day at work
reading and about 5 hours per night during the week and about 12 hours per
day during the weekend doing scenarios and practicing technologies on
equipment. That was consistent every day for about 9 months.

That comes out to about 1900 hours with my nose in a book and pounding a
keyboard.

The sacrifice paid off because I passed on my first attempt.

Subject: How many hours a week should I study?

Hi All,

I have a quick question. I am just starting out and putting my schedule
together. I would like to finish in 6 months and was wondering how many
hours a week should I set apart to study. I am currently targeting about 30
a week but frankly am feeling like that might not be enough.

How many hours a week on average did everyone put in to get their #.

Thanks in advance.

PS. This is an amazing resource, thanks Paul.
