Hi Anantha,

'noncontiguous' basically could refer to non-adjacent, or in the case of ACL
it means that the port range is not in the sequential increment/ order.

The example provided by other replies shows it.

A typical contiguous port usually 'force' user to use a range of port in
sequential order.
i.e.: between port 23 until 80, and anything inclusive in between

While a noncontiguous port means they can use the port number in a
non-sequential and/ or order.
i.e.:
- port 23, 80 and 443 (non sequential)
- port 443, 23 and 80 (non-ordered)
