ICMP type 17 - Address mask request.... what is this used for? My buddy at
work is going through the Internetwork Expert labs and a question popped up
about disabling ICMP responses to "requests for a netmask". I've never heard
of this before. We googled around and found out there's an interface "no ip
mask-reply" command. However, I am not sure what the application of this
would be. Stupid question, but curiosity is eating at me :)
