Bryan,

Basically, routing protocols that use link-layer addresses as next-hops and
multicast to exchange updates or form adjacencies won't work over multipoint
tunnels. This includes 6to4 tunnels and ISATAP. However, ISATAP is special
in that you have a predictable link-layer address for a tunnel destination.
So you can use routing protocols that support unicasting, such as OSPF via
the neighbor command.
