IIRC, that module is for 6500s and 7600s only, so no Dynamips
support. I'm normally very bullish on the PEC labs but was not
terribly impressed with the ACE series, so you're not missing out on
too much there, IMHO. You do gain a basic familiarization and a
healthy disrespect for how they've recycled class-map and policy-map
code. YUCK!! I think you're going to need to either take a class or
try to gain access to some lab gear via Cisco somehow.
You are an independent consultant, no? You have a couple of choices
if you're interested in PEC access. If you're fully incorporated, you
can establish a partner relationship for your company (it's not as
difficult as one might think). Or you can just affiliate with someone
who already has. Lastly, there's a consultant type of relationship
that you can establish with Cisco, but I don't think it affords you
full access, so PEC might still be off the table with this option.
