Hi Tharak,
I think the problem you are facing is because of the LSAs already
existing in the ospf database . In your case R4 had already received
the LSAs and when you put the command on the interface any further
LSAs towards R4 will not be advertised. To test this do a "debug ip
ospf flood" and "debug ip ospf lsa-gen" on R3 and while the command is
on the interface advertise a new loopback network . You should find
that the LSA is not flooded out the interface you have this command on
and R4 should not have the new network in its RIB.
