I do agree with Larry in that they should give 10 - 20 questions instead
of 4 questions. Yes, know the blueprint but you really can't remember
everything in the blueprint. How many candidates passed the CCIE lab
itself with 100% on every section? I'm pretty sure some have but I'm
also pretty sure many did not get 100% on every section which means you
did get a few tasks wrong and there are many tasks to complete. For
argument's sake, let's say you have used a product like IE's Core
Knowledge Simulation and answered all the simulation questions - and
there's a ton of them. Then let's say you answered all but 4 questions
correct because you couldn't remember such and such, not that you did
not know the technology but off the top of your head it just slipped
your mind. Now take those 4 questions and think what if those were the
questions you got? Then you obviously failed the CCIE lab. Wouldn't that
really be a load of ****? I do think they should add more questions and
make it at least 10. I'm not trying to stir up anything, this is just my
opinion.

Re: Core Knowledge - Don't mis-interpret this
Hey,
Let's face it a lot of people took short cuts to qualify for the lab
portion
of the exam.
Now that we are all over that one.
A lot of people take short cuts to pass the lab or maybe people just use
"gunmen" to take the lab for them? Who knows...?
But Cisco must be more right than wrong given the number of people who
are
freaking out and blaming the open-ended questions on their failure.
In any event, all of us who still want to be CCIE's now have to keep up
with
the trivia...
1. Command Config Guides
2. Command References
3. Technotes and FAQ's
4. Networkers Techtorials, Slides, and other Prep Materials...
5. Oh yes... RFC's too.
Are you telling me that so many of the CCIE's before never had to know
this
stuff?
