Flex Links....

Is Flex link something that you only configure on one side?? If I have two
switches
connected to each other by two cables/links, and I want one cable/link to be
a
backup for the other do I need to configure the switchport backup command
on
both switches?

Also, if I'm configuring MMU which VLAN should I use? How do you know
which vlan is the proper one to use for the scenario?
