Group,
I have the following lab layer out:
Major network 157.1.0.0
R1 (hub)
123.1 / \
/ \
/ \
.2 / FR \ .3 FastE
R2 R3---------R5
.35.3 .35.5
I am using Phy. interfaces on the Fr connection (I'm sending traffic for the
spokes out the same dlci as for the HUB.)
Ex. of R2 configure:
frame-relay map ip 157.1.123.1 201 bro
frame-relay map ip 157.1.123.3 201
EIGRP is the IGP, and I have Split-horizon disabled on R1. I'm also running
Dense mode on the the links, and i joined R5 to group 224.25.25.25.
So fairly sample set up, but I can't ping 224.25.25.25 from R2. And debug on
R1 with ping from R2 shows:
s=157.1.123.2 d=224.25.25.25, mroute olist null
I know the above debug outout mean that the packet is begin drop due to no
outgoing interface was founded. I tried added static mroutes, but that did
not work. I got it to work when I configred R1 with two sub-p-to-p
interfaces, but why is it not working with Phy interfaces on R1.
Thanks!
Mike
