Hi folks,
I know this is an OT, please forgive me.
Cisco is still selling Catalyst 6500 in core, and datacenter solutions.
Recently they started the Nexus 7000 series.
Juniper is launched the Ex8200 series which has a very high performance,
320Gbps fabric per slot. (comparing to 80Gbps in Nexus and 40Gbps in Cat
6500), which creates a very fast, non-blocking solution for core,
aggregations.
Also brocade is providing solutions faster than Cisco in this market.
Juniper is claiming that 90% of enterprises which connected to Internet2
(internetworks based on Etherchannels of 10Gbps links) are using Juniper.
What do you think, shall we start for juniper certifications? Do you
forecast high demand market for Juniper/ Brocade technicals in
Routing/Switching ?
Regards
Reza
