Still no luck:

   - Ok, verified windows fw shutdown
   - deleted everything out of dir
   - downloaded a fresh ios copy c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE1 (says it's
a .bin but tried "archive download-sw" too)
   - really this is demoralizing

sw1#copy tftp: flash:
Address or name of remote host [10.1.1.2]?
Source filename [c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE1.bin]?
c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE1
Destination filename [c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE1]?
Accessing tftp://10.1.1.2/c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE1...
%Error opening tftp://10.1.1.2/c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE1 (Timed out)
