For what it's worth, I've read the Cisco press books for ccna, ccnp,
ccvp, ccip, the tcp/ip books, and a few others, and the QoS book was
my favorite by far. It is what I would call the closest to an
'enjoyable' read.
Disclaimer: I could also be sick in the head.
