Raghav,

The set interface command is designed for point to point links, so in your case either way should work fine. If it were multipoint interface, only the latter would work.

If the question says that for MTU size 0-100 use serial interface and for
MTU size 101-200 use fa0/0. then what is the difference between the
following commands under Route-map:-

route-map TST permit 10
match length 0 100
set interface serial0/0

OR

set ip next-hop ( remote end ip)

Just curious to know????

By the way both work as I have used them in my lab...
