Cisco is going to be smart and ensure that you engage in
troubleshooting in the CCIE Lab Exam. They can and will do this in a
number of creative ways that is going to vary from exam to exam.

You might see a troubleshooting section, you might not. Be ready to
verify and troubleshoot anything in the lab exam in order to fulfill
specific task requirements. If you believe that solving the issues
violates the initial overall lab instructions (for example, do not add
additional IP address space), then you certainly have an "ask the
proctor moment" on your hands.

Typically, the lab is very well constructed in that whatever you need
to fix does not in fact conflict with the initial instructions. So in
the interest of time management, repair, verify, and then move on!
