Regarding ROute-maps

Hi Experts,

When we use the match keyword. For Example

route-map test permit 10
match tag 10

*what does this tag and number means? does it means we are matching all the
routes which are tagged with this number 10 or something else.

*When we use the set keyword . For Example

route-map test permit 10
set tag 10

*Does the set command means that we are setting a tag on the routes which
will be using this route-map.???

Please advise...
