If I have a pppoe-client connection do I need to use "dialer
persistent" command on a dialer interface? I see a lot of PPPoE
examples that include that command, but I don't believe you actually
need it, because pppoe-client is not a DDR connection, it actually
comes up as soon as you configure it. I know you can do "pppoe-client
dial-pool 1 dial-on-demand", which will require "dialer-group" and
which will also bring dialer idle-timeout into effect.
Is there any need for "dialer persistent" command on a pppoe-client
dialer interface? Does the pppoe-client dialer ever timeout?
