The SSL VPN client for 8.x = Anyconnect, for 7.x it was called the SSL VPN
Client (SVC).
The client version/series would depend on the ASA firewall version (as
above, and as per the compatibility matrix).
Another option would be to try the native L2TP/IPSEC client in Windows, I
guess it should connect with the ASA without giving a lot of trouble.
I meant the 'client' option and not clientless.
