Thor,

Although you're already a CCIE (at least in your sig you suggested you
are) you still have to have a CCNA as a prerequisite before obtaining
CCSP/CCVP certification. There are also some additional changes which
are coming to fruition very shortly.

Starting on June 23, 2009, you also have to have a CCNA Voice
certification (IIUC) prior to obtaining your CCVP.

For CCSP, as a requirement of certification, you CURRENTLY have to have
CCNA Security passed in addition to CCNA (or you can do CCNA + SND).

We do offer classes/bootcamps for most of the professional and associate
level certifications. If you don't have time to take a class, check out
our self-paced training product on an iPod Touch, called the iCOD:

Let me know if you have any other questions.

thanks,

Subject: OT: CCSP and CCVP Resources

Hi,

I have a few spare cycles at the moment and wanted to get a better
understanding of some of the Cisco security product by pursueing the
CCSP
track. I also want to have a look at the CCVP certification as I will be
taking on some voice components in the future.

Does anyone know any good resources for either the CCSP or CCVP
certifications? I know all of the vendors/cert material for the CCIE
tracks
but I don't see IEW/IPExpert offering the CCxP level tracks. Has anyone
recently completed their CCSP or CCVP on their way to CCIE and could
give me
a list of the books or certification resources that they have used? Most
of
the blogs that I have found relate to CCIE level study, rather than CCxP
level study.
