Hello experts,

this is what I realized while reading the OSPF's RFC:

Let's say every OSPF router creates the "tree" from the "graph" when
looking at the topology.
(note difference between graphs and trees - tree CAN'T contain loops)

When "node is a router" and "link is a network between routers", then:

If you had only point to point links, branch in the tree can be
divided to more only at nodes.
If you had multiaccess network such as ethernet, branch can also be
divided to more "at the network". So in this case a "fictitious" node
can be in the middle of multiaccess network.

.. and that's why Type 2 LSA exist - to describe this "fictitious"
node, also called DR.

Router LSAs describe it's connected networks, and
Network LSAs describe it's connected routers.
