Dear All,

I have question regarding Cisco Core Switches6500 Vs Foundry BigIron Core
Switches ?
Which is better in Cost and Performance ?
As Cisco 720 ,720 Gbps aggregate bandwidth and 40 GBps per slot of switching
capacity and VSS gives 720x2 aggregate bandwidth .
Do any one has knowledge about Foundry core switches which are faster than
Cisco and cheaper in Price ?

Are Foundry switches use same IOS which is used by Cisco ?

Cisco 6500 has blades line FWSM,IDSM ? did Foundry has something like for
InterVlan Security?

Any update is really thankfull.
