Make sure your port channel interface configs are the exact same as your interface configs that are part of the channel.

Subject: ether channel problem
Folks,
I have 4 swicthes which are interconnected with each other.
I configure ether channel between them in a full mesh setup. I am not
using Papg or Lacp and have the ether channel in ON state. What I am
noticing is that some ether channels come up and some do not. I have
shut and no shut the port channel interfaces to get them up sometimes
and I am wasting a lot of time. They eventually come up but a lot of
shuts and no shuts. I have verified that all configuration is
consistent on the ports and the trunks come up before i try to build
the ether channels.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
