It's a valid question. Naturally the human mind (well, most human minds)
will let go of some knowledge over time. But I would MUCH rather work with
a security expert who also is certified R&S. Likewise with voice and just
about everything else. Some of the best network engineers I have ever had
the pleasure of working with were multiple CCIEs. Even if they no longer
have a full mastery of every little detail of EIGRP or OSPF (etc), we can
speak a common language.
And let's face it...some people just don't like their wives!!!

Subject: Triple & Quad CCIE's
Hi Experts,
I have a question in my mind and would like to know about it provided no one
should feel offended.
There are quite a few number of dual CCIE's and very few triple/quad ccie's.
Now, Is it possible for a person
to be expert in 3 or more domain in term so CCIE? I have seen engineers who
have expertize in R & S 3-4 yrs back but
due to current Voice/Security they tend to forget to some extent.
Please don't feel offended by my ques and would appreciate if someone can
enlighten about it.
Warm Regards,
HB
