Hi Gaurav,

ISL encapsulates the traffic adding a 26byte header and 4 byte crc, it does
not tag it. So this is not an option

I would use dot1q and tag native.

If i am asked that " all traffic sentover trunk links should be tagged with
vlan header"

option 1 : Use ISL
option 2 : Use dot1q and "vlan dot1q tag native "

Which one is preferred and why ?
